The Legal Affairs Committee of the Lithuanian Parliament rejected on May 17 the draft constitutional amendments aiming to introduce the definition of a family as heterosexual marriage and parenthood only. The fate of the draft amendments will be decided either at the end of May or early June, when the Parliament will vote on the committee’s conclusion.
