Much has been written about human trafficking and prostitution, but Hanuka Lohrengel and Eglė Plytnikaitė believe that society still fails to grasp the daily reality of its victims, writes 15min.lt. For this reason, the two artists launched "Lilies of the Streets," a project aimed at changing public attitudes towards an oft-stigmatized group - women who were subjected to sexual exploitation. The authors published several works on human trafficking, sexual slavery and prostitution - in fact, what they published were the actual stories of girls who had experienced this kind of abuse.
