A statement signed by more than 420 journalists was issued on the one year anniversary of the killing of Slovak journalist Ján Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kušnírová. “The pain and horror have not disappeared, but we haven't lost our determination to continue in Ján’s work and reveal the fraud, corruption and dirt that led to these two cold-blooded murders,” reads the statement, which also notes that the identities of the murderer and who ordered the murder are publicly known. The statement concludes with a promise by the signees to fight for justice and against corruption in Slovakia.
