Residents of neighborhoods in west and northwest Amsterdam recently received anti-gay flyers in their mail. The police received over 20 reports and have started an investigation. The flyer warns about homosexuality and states that Christianity, Islam and Judaism reject it. Member of Parliament Ahmed Marcouch of the Labour Party (PvdA) also received a flyer. On Twitter, he asked people to report the act of discrimination to the police. Interest group COC, which defends the rights of homosexuals, also asked people to report the issue to the police.
