"We cannot wait any longer." This is what the presidents of four Italian associations dealing with medicine and human rights wrote in a letter to Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Life-saving drugs for hepatitis C are not available because of their high costs. The associations urge the government to commit itself to making these drugs available and saving as many as 20,000 patients at risk.
