Lithuania's National Department of Statistics announced that women in Lithuania earned 14.3 percent less than men in 2015, and the gender pay gap increased by 0.6 percent from its 2014 level. The largest gap, at 38.5 percent, was found in the financial and insurance sectors. A 29.5 percent gap existed in the information and communications sector, a 26.3 percent gap in health and social services, 25.6 percent in manufacturing, 24.4 percent in sales and vehicle repair, and 29.7 percent in other customer services.
