Roberto Saviano, the very famous "Gomorrah" and "Zero Zero Zero" author, keeps voicing his opinion on drug policies. He recently posted a video in which he demonstrates in three minutes how the War on Drugs failed and how the legalization is the only efficient way to fight against organized crime and drug problems. Using ratios and figures of countries which already legalized cannabis, such as Uruguay, he shows how it creates a profitable market and reduces crime. With 28,000 people behind bars for drug offenses from a total prison population of 53,000, Italy should legalize, too!
