The Sollicciano meeting room, designed by architect Michelucci, is a very good example of a more natural environment where visits between detainees and families take place

In the prison world, it is very easy for detainees to lose contacts with their families – in fact, they have the right to make a single 10-minute phone call per week and up to 6 hours of in-person meeting time each month. Losing family contacts can be very counterproductive for the detainees, because if this happens they "end up not having a scope in life. They don't pick themselves up to try to become better people." The documentary was filmed by Andrea Oleandri from Antigone and Andrea Gualtieri from Repubblica, with editing by Paolo Saracino.
