The Netherlands Institute for War Documentation will collaborate with institutions in Eastern and Southern Europe to make Holocaust archives accessible. New partners in Bulgaria, Romania, Latvia, Italy and Greece will make their archives available. The EU is providing funding worth eight million euros for the extension of the European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI), a project that offers digital access to archives and collections about the Holocaust—the systematic killing of millions of Jews during the Second World War.
