Activists dressed as grim reapers protested outside the Brno Exhibition Center during the IDET military technology fair being hosted there. Their protest, which included a banner that read, "Death walks around Brno," drew attention to the fact that the corporations attending the fair profit by shipping weapons to dictatorial regimes or conflict areas. According to the latest publicly available data, among the biggest importers of Czech weapons between 2003-2013 are gross human rights violators such as Algeria, Vietnam, Egypt, Thailand and Yemen.
