The interior minister of the Czech Republic has proposed charging people to make complaints against police officers. The League of Human Rights has for a long time criticized the General Inspectorate of Security Forces for inactivity in dealing with complaints from citizens and not investigating illegal activities of police. This is, in our opinion, one corrupted and clientelistic institution. By introducing charges for registering complaints, we are just preventing poor people from making a complaint, which significantly affects the fundamental rights.
