The collective Les Morts de la Rue (The Dead of the Street), winner of the Belgian League of Human Rights's Régine Orfinger-Karlin Prize for 2014, will pay tribute on May 13 to people who had lived some part of their life homeless and were found dead last year, whether it be in a home, hospital, emergency shelter, on a sidewalk, in the subway, etc. The homeless charity calls for more action by the government and structural changes to combat homelessness. A tree in front of the Brussels Central Station is dedicated to the dead, and a list of their names is available online.
