The Italian section of Amnesty International has conferred the Art and Human Rights 2014 award on Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, a 40-year-old popular music band from Salento. The awarded song is the touching "Solo andata" (Only Outward Route), taken from an Erri De Luca poem and referring to migrants and refugees risking their lives at the Europe's borders.
