Ungarns Parlament hat am Dienstag das umstrittene Gesetz zur Finanzierung von NGOs verabschiedet. Die Hungarian Civil Liberties Union verurteilt das rechtswidrige NGO-Gesetz und ruft zu zivilem Ungehorsam dagegen auf.
Am 31. Mai beginnt in Brüssel der Prozeß gegen die "sechs Helden", die sich auf einem Flug nach Afrika für einen Mann eingesetzt haben, den die Polizei gewaltsam nach Kamerun deportieren wollte.
In diesem Jahr wurden bislang mindestens 30 Fälle verzeichnet, in denen der Antrag eines Ausländers auf Asyl- oder humanitären Schutz in Kroatien aus unbelegten Sicherheitsbedenken abgelehnt wurde.
Die Niederlande haben den EU-Gerichtshof angerufen, um zu klären, ob der Staatssekretär für Sicherheit und Justiz einem Einwanderer, der die Integrationsprüfung nicht bestanden hat, die Aufenthaltsgenehmigung verweigern darf.

Der Oberste Gerichtshof ordnet an, dass bei psychischen Verletzungen von Flüchtlingen in Internierungslagern Sachverständigengutachten eingeholt werden müssen.
Die von vielen NGOs und zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteuren unterstützte Kampagne schlägt konkrete Lösungen vor, um das berüchtigte Bossi-Fini-Gesetz zu überwinden und die Integration zu fördern.

Der französische Aktivist Félix Croft wurde in allen Punkten von der Anklage für die Unterstützung von fünf sudanesischen Asylsuchenden bei der Überquerung der Grenze von Italien nach Frankreich freigesprochen.

In Ungarn werden NGOs angegriffen, weil sie sich gegen den Machtmissbrauch durch die Regierung stellen, das ist ein Angriff auf die Zivilgesellschaft. Unterschreibe unsere Petition und fordere das EU-Parlament auf, gegen die Regierung Orban vorzugehen.
Anti-Demokratische Regierungen mögen NGOs nicht, weil ihr wesentlicher Dienst an unseren Gesellschaften darin besteht, sicherzustellen, dass die Behörden im Interesse der Öffentlichkeit handeln.
Am Grenzübergang von Weißrussland nach Polen werden die Rechte von Asylsuchenden offensichtlich ignoriert, deshalb bot dort jetzt eine Gruppe von 14 Anwälten Menschen, die dort internationalen Schutz in Polen beantragen wollen, rechtliche Unterstützung.
